- The system input – it is through ECG via QUIK-COMBO or FAST-PATCH disposable electrodes. The standard placement position is anterior-lateral.
- The electric protection – the input is protected from the high voltage defibrillator pulses per IEC 60601/EN 60601.
- The safety classification – the exponential wave form is biphasic truncated. The internal powered equipment offers protection from high voltage and provides duration compensation for the benefit of patient usability.
- The output energy sequence – it has three levels which offer user configuration in the range of 150 to 360 joules.
- The charging period – the product comes with either a brand new non-rechargeable battery, or a new fully charged rechargeable battery. It gets charged with a capacity of 200 joules in less than 9 seconds or 360 joules in less than 15 seconds.
- The controls – the device power can be turned on or off with the On/Off Turns button. The ‘Analyze’ button initiates the ECG analysis. The ‘Shock’ button commences the defibrillation energy the most unique point is that it gets activated only when the Shock Advisory System advises defibrillation.
- The display system – it has a 20 character per line LCD display system combined with audible tones. The entire operating sequence is prompted to the user through the displayed messages.
- The product has an internal digital memory with a variety of recording options. It can record ECG and maintain an event log of operator controlled device actions. It has the capacity to produce Code Summary Report, 300 Event Log Reports and 30 Test log Reports.
- It is empowered with different communication options. It can be directly connected to your personal computer or you can also connect the Hayes AT- Compatible modem to your P.C.
- For the use of children who are eight years of age there is the option of Child Reduced Energy Defibrillation Electrodes with biphasic LIFEPAK 500 AED that has a pink connector.
